Hats on for children’s palliative care!

Join Butterfly Palliative Home in Ingwavuma in support of #HatsOn4CPC this Friday

In a bid to shine a light on children’s palliative care, Butterfly Palliative Home in Ingwavuma has once again teamed up with the International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN) for the annual #HatsOn4CPC day on Friday.

Join this worthwhile cause by donning your favourite hat on Friday – whether outlandishly wacky, a little bit quirky, or plain and simple – post a photo or selfie to social media using the #HatsOn4CPC hashtag and tagging @butterflyhomeza.

You can also support Butterfly Palliative Home by donating, no matter how small.

The #HatsOn4CPC campaign is supported by many organisations in South Africa and around the world, and is a prelude to World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, which is observed annually on the second Saturday in October.

Based in Ingwavuma, Butterfly Palliative Home is the only children’s hospice in KwaZulu-Natal, and one of only three in South Africa.

As an NPO, it relies heavily on sponsorship and donations to continue providing end-of-life care to young children with severe disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

To donate: Acc name: Butterfly Palliative Home, FNB Cheque Account, Acc no: 62857825742, branch code: 250069, Swift Code: FIRNZAJJ.
