AKA admits he slapped Cassper Nyovest
We wrote about the abundance of beef the Twitterverse has been receiving lately. In the midst of this beef is AKA; with Black Coffee and Cassper Nyovest.
AKA performs at the DSTV iRock Music Festival in Port Elizabeth, 04 April 2015. The event hosted some of South Africa’s biggest acts including AKA, Thandiswa Mazwai, Beatenburg and many others. Picture: Refilwe Modise
Nyovest posted on social media accusing AKA of walking up to his table in a club and slapping him. AKA then also went on social media, posting tweets to deny the claims made by Nyovest, which he later deleted.
There were also reports that a representative from Cantare nightclub confirmed that the incident where Cassper Nyovest was allegedly slapped by AKA did happen.
Some Twitter users accused Nyovest of causing drama to market his FillUpTheDome campaign in which he hopes to record his new album live to a full audience at the Dome.
Recently, AKA complained about fame, saying he did not know how to handle it.
He also admitted to slapping Cassper Nyovest at the club and later deleted his tweets, as his “management told him to do so”.
