Cassper cuts the ponytail, Minnie asks if he still wants to marry her

Refiloe ‘Cassper Nyovest’ Phoolo may have more reasons to celebrate after winning Best Live Act at the MTV Africa Music Awards that took place at the Coca-Cola Dome on Saturday night.

Cassper rocked the red carpet looking slimmer and slick in a suit, a first for him when attending awards. However, Cassper has not only lost a few kilos but also his ponytail – fans still have not said much about the dramatic change.

One fan, however, said he had to cut it as it had become too heavy for the Mama I made It hit maker.

We love that the awards organisers are aware of what is happening with the celebs, especially Cassper, who has not kept his crush on Minnie Dlamini much of a secret. As a result they made her present the Best Live Act award, ultimately giving it to him, and obviously putting an extra smile on his face.

The excitement got to Cassper so much he could not respond to Minnie when she asked him if he still wanted to marry her, according to fans on Twitter.

“Grootman @CassperNyovest, Minnie asked if you still wanna marry her last night, said one. “Lol I expected him to respond yazi I guess he was still excited Minnie gave him that award,” responded another.

Cassper laughed off the question but said he regretted missing out on the opportunity.

“I was sooo happy I won that award I dropped the ball. Should’ve gone in on her,” he said.

Perhaps one way he has been trying to redeem himself was through creating a picture of himself and Minnie and posting it on Twitter.

“I meant but come on @MinnieDlamini . Let’s just do this slaying thing,” he said. Well, we guess the “Minnie everything” statements from Cassper won’t stop anytime soon.
