A Komodo dragon named, unoriginally, “Dragon” is a tourist attraction in Indonesia and is officially recognised as being “The world’s largest lizard”. He was recently captured on camera eating an entire monkey, without condiments in just six large bites.
In the video, Dragon can be seen gulping his unfortunate victim down head first, leaving the tail for last.
Komodo dragons are known for their ability to swallow animals up to 80% of their own size, and their poisonous bites, which contain over 50 types of bacteria and will generally kill an animal even if it manages to initially escape.
