How it works
FlySafair is selling 50 000 domestic tickets for only R9 today. The sale will be closed as soon as the 50 000 tickets sell out. In a statement, the company explained that the tickets are randomly placed. To grab a ticket, customers are first placed in the waiting room for a little over an hour, the lucky ones are then redirected to the booking site to grab their R9 tickets.
Giving an update around 2pm today on Twitter, the company said the tickets are almost sold out.
“It’s getting close! We’re nearly sold out of 50 000 R9 tickets. That’s 264 of our planes full of people who only paid R9!!! Good news though – the 30% off all tickets will keep going until midnight!”
