The largest travel and tourism exhibition on the continent, the 2018 Africa Tourism Indaba, officially opened its doors this week.

Ringing the bell for the official opening and welcoming at the Durban ICC was Deputy Minister of Tourism Elizabeth Thabethe with tourism MEC Sihle Zikalala and eThekwini executive mayor Zandile Gumede, who mentioned just how important events such as these are to the local and intercontinental tourism market.
This year the Indaba sees more than 1000 exhibitors with 22 representatives across the African continent. It debuts 228 new first-time exhibitors.
