Icy weather not a deterrent for golfers

On Saturday Pollak Park Golf Club hosted the monthly Gingers Day golf competition.
The cold weather did not deter the golfers from putting their best foot forward.
Greig Ellerbeck took first place with 41 points. In second place was Peter Woods with 38 points.

Christo Theodorou settled in third place with 35 points (on count out).
The longest day was earned by Chris Vorster, while Madi Barresi achieved the longest drive. Cameron Murray walked away with the nearest pin.
In the Meat Competition, Johan Coetzer took the front nine with 24 points.
