Two South Africans – Zolani Tete and Sibonyiso Gonya – made boxing history at the weekend in Northern Ireland.
Yet the two bantamweight fighters would’ve been left with contrasting emotions.
In fact, for Gonya the fight was plain embarrassing.
Tete, who was defending his WBO title, ended the fight in an incredible 11 seconds … with his first punch!

As a result, he established a new world record for the quickest bout in history.
The previous record was 17 seconds after the bout between Daniel Jimenez and Harald Geier in 1994.
Gonya received oxygen treatment before recovering.
If Zolani Tete's record-breaking performance is anything to go by… we're in for a huge Fight Night!
