WATCH: Six sixes in an over for record-breaking Afghan batter

Hazratullah Zazai smashed his poor opponent for an incredible 37 runs in his over.

Chris Gayle and Yuvraj Singh are household names when it comes to T20 cricket.

It’s little wonder then that between them they hold various records in the format – including the joint-fastest 50.

But a relatively unknown Afghan then decided to etch his name into the annals of history.

Hazratullah Zazai smashed a blistering half-century off just 12 balls in the Afghan Premier League and, to make that feat even more impressive, smashed left-arm spinner Abdullah Mazari for six sixes in one over.

Here’s how he did it.

Incidentally, the 37 runs Mazari conceded in his over is also a world record.

Zazai became the second man after Yuvraj to hit six sixes in an over.

And just for fun, here’s that thrilling moment in history … all the way back in 2007.
