WATCH: AB’s amazing one-handed six!

You wouldn't believe how far the ball travelled for this one...

AB de Villiers had Proteas fans despairing once again after a typically brutal innings in the Indian Premier League on Wednesday night.

With the World Cup just over a month away, the 35-year-old legend reminded all what South Africa will be missing at the showpiece tournament after his shock international retirement last year.

De Villiers smashed an unbeaten 82 off 44 balls for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Kings XI Punjab and provided one particularly stupendous moment when he hit a one-handed six!

It was such a big hit, it landed on the roof!

To date, De Villiers has scored 414 runs at an average of 59 and a strike rate of 158.
