Kohli’s tantrum lands him in trouble
The Indian skipper is fined by the ICC for outburst against the umpires in the second Test against the Proteas.

Virat Kohli’s temper has landed him in trouble.
The Indian skipper on Tuesday was fined 25% of his match fee and received a demerit point by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for his on-field conduct during Monday’s play in the second Test between the Proteas and India in Centurion.
World cricket’s governing body confirmed in a statement that the relevant incident was when Kohli was continually complaining over the state of the ball.
India had felt that the SuperSport Park outfield was still too damp following a sharp thunderstorm when the umpires called the players back on.
Even batting coach Sanjay Bangar had tried to illustrate that to the players.
Kohli was clearly unhappy and at one stage angrily threw into the ground in front of umpire Michael Gough.
Ironically, it took only a few overs for him to change his attitude.
The Indian seamers had started to gain some swing under heavy cloud cover before the players were taken off again for bad light.
This time, Kohli seemingly felt the light was good enough and once again had animated discussions with the umpires.
He felt so strongly about the issue that he even went into the match referee’s room to what looked like a protest.
The ICC made no mention of that incident.
Kohli pleaded guilty to his charge.
