The forward scored a superb goal for Brugge over the weekend when they beat Sint-Truiden 6-0.
Tau chipped the ball over the goal keeper for a classy finish to extend his side’s lead to 4-0.
“I feel good and credit to the guys for helping me score that goal. It is a good welcome to the club,” said Tau.
“I think it was a great team goal. It was different but with the help of my teammates wasn’t exposed I was always supported so I just want to say thank you to the guys for helping me.”
The 25-year-old is set to feature for the Belgium side in the preliminary round of the Eufa Champions League after he was named in the squad that will represent the Belgian club Europe’s top club competition.
Brugge will square off with Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine on Tuesday evening as they battle to qualify for the group stages of the competition.
