PSL and Caf Champs League weekend review: April 26-28

Cape Town City kept their faint title hopes alive by beating Chippa United 2-0 down in Port Elizabeth. The loss also dragged Chippa into the relegation battle and they now only lead last-placed Maritzburg United by just a point going into the last two games of the season.

Kaizer Chiefs suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday night, a loss that extended their winless run to five games.

Sundowns went down 2-1 to Wydad in the first leg of the Caf Champions League semi-finals, but the Brazilians managed to score the all-important away goal going into the second leg at the Lucas Moripe Stadium this coming Saturday.
