Chiefs edged Black Leopards 1-0 on Saturday to move to the top of the Absa Premiership standings.
The highlight of this round of matches took place on Sunday, where Bloemfontein Celtic handed Golden Arrows a 5-0 drubbing to spoil coach Steve Komphela’s return to the Dr Molemela Stadium.
Looking at the Caf Champions League, there was no joy for SA teams as both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns suffered narrow defeats away from home.
