Preview: Portugal vs Morocco
The 2016 European Champions were involved in an enthralling 3-3 draw against Spain in their World Cup opener with talisman Cristiano Ronaldo bagging a hat-trick in the contest to take an early lead in the race for the Golden Boot.

Although Portugal were impressive in attack, there are big concerns at the back after Pepe and Jose Fonte failed to impress at the heart of defence and 36-year-old Bruno Alves could be handed a starting chance.
Fernando Santos’ men have only recorded two shutouts in their last seven outings but they will be confident of improving on that statistic against a Morocco side reeling after the 1-0 defeat to Iran.
Changes may also be made higher up the pitch with Gelson Martins and Joao Mario both in contention to replace Sporting Lisbon winger Bruno Fernandes, who underwhelmed on his World Cup debut against Spain.
Morocco head into the contest with the knowledge they could be eliminated from the contest if they lose against Portugal and La Roja manage to get the better of Iran in the later kick-off.
Defensively, Herve Renard’s men looked good last time out with Juventus centre-back Medhi Benatia and young full-back Achraf Hakimi both earning plaudits for their performances.
The Atlas Lions will make at least one change, with Nordin Amrabat ruled out with a concussion and his absence could present an opportunity to younger brother Sofyan.
Wednesday contest will be just the second meeting between these countries, with the previous encounter ending in a 3-1 victory for Morocco at the 1986 World Cup.
