Mosimane hails Regragui after guiding Morocco to first World Cup semis

Former Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has praised Walid Regragui after he guided Morocco to the first African nation to reach the World Cup semifinals.

This comes after Morocco edged Portugal 1-0 to become the first African country to reach the semifinals of the World Cup on Saturday.
Following this achievement, Mosimane thanked Regragui for “putting all of Africa in the global map”.
“Walid, thank you for putting all of Africa in the Global Map,” wrote the former Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns on social media.
“Thank you for educating most of our Federations in our beloved Continent that we have potential and we got wiser and we now a lot about Global Football and we can compete with any country if we plan properly.”
Morocco will now meet defending champions France in the semifinals on Wednesday.
Argentina and Croatia will meet in the other semifinals on Tuesday.
The final will be played on Sunday.
