Blow by blow: Tottenham vs Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is aiming for win number six on Sunday when Manchester United travel to Wembley to take on Tottenham.

Since being appointed interim boss until the end of the season, Solskjaer has won all five matches in charge, beating Cardiff, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Newcastle in the Premier League before dispatching Reading in the FA Cup.

The clash against Spurs represents the Dane’s toughest test but there is a huge amount riding on the match in London, as a sixth straight win for the Red Devils would see the gap to Mauricio Pochettino’s men reduced to seven points.

Spurs are on a three-game winning run heading into the contest, having beaten Cardiff 3-0, Tranmere 7-0 and Chelsea 1-0, and they are firmly in the hunt for Premier League glory once again.

Pochettino’s men did lose their last Wembley outing in the league – a 3-1 defeat to Wolves – but they have triumphed six times at home in the league this season and will be confident of racking up another victory.
