Spurs ended their Wembley Premier League jinx last Saturday with a 1-0 success over Bournemouth and followed that up with an impressive draw at Real Madrid in midweek.
But Mauricio Pochettino is yet to register a win against Liverpool since taking charge at Tottenham in 2014, with three draws and four defeats to date, although the last two meetings at White Hart Lane finished in draws.
The hosts will have Dele Alli back after European suspension, while Danny Rose comes into contention after coming off the bench at the Bernabeu. But Spurs will again be without Victor Wanyama, Erik Lamela and Mousa Dembele.
