Foster, who fell down the pecking order at the French Ligue 1 side, joins fellow Bafana Bafana striker Percy Tau at the Belgian side.
Foster, who made his debut on Sunday in a 3-1 defeat against KAA Gent, was joined by teammate and former Chelsea defender Jonathan Panzo at Brugge.
Monaco confirmed the duo’s loan switch to Brugge on their social media page.
The club tweeted: “Panzo and Foster are on loan to Cercle Brugge for the 2019-2020 financial year. AS Monaco ???????? wants the best of both young players for this season.”
Foster will be hoping to emulate Tau’s bright start to his Brugge career and also score goals for the Belgian side.
