Cabaye, 33, played 93 times for the English Premier League side after arriving from Lille in 2014, helping them to a Europa League appearance.
He left St James’ Park three years later for Paris Saint-Germain before heading to Crystal Palace.
The 48-time France international, who won a French title with Lille in 2011 and two with PSG, will line-up alongside former team-mate Mathieu Debuchy.
