Former Chiefs star makes Azerbaijan’s Team of the Week
Hendrick Ekstein has been enjoying his football at his club Sabah FC in Azerbaijan and was recently included in the Azerbaijan Premier League team of the week.

The midfielder has been getting a lot of game time at his new club, and has proved to be quite one of the most important players in the Sabah squad, scoring and creating goals.

This week on Phakaaathi, a source close to the player told the paper that the Bekkersdal born player is looking to end his career overseas and he is enjoying his football more than ever before.
Ekstein left Chiefs just before the end of the season and was mostly linked with a move to Orlando Pirates and Highlands Park. However, he went on to join Sabah, a club which was only formed in 2017.
