This week on our weekend review, Phakaaathi TV host Khaya Ndubane and his guest Tshepo Ntsoelengoe look at this past weekend’s Premiership Fifa World Cup match between Banyana and Spain.
Having started the game well after taking an early lead through Thembi Kgatlana’s stunning goal, Banyana ended up losing the game 3-1.
Two of Spain’s goal came from the penalty spot and the second one was awarded through the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, but TV replays showed that it was a dubious decision.
Still on national teams’ issues, Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter named his final 23-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
