South Africa needed only a draw to qualify for the 2019 Afcon, but Stuart Baxter’s men did better than that by beating Libya away in Tunisia on Sunday evening.
A brace from Percy Tau was enough to book Bafana a spot in June’s Afcon competition in Egypt.
The SA under-23 team also did the nation proud by beating Angola 3-1 in the first leg of the Olympic qualifiers away in Luanda this past weekend.
