Alves’ home in the smart Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine was broken into on Wednesday while he was playing at nearby Parc des Princes against Montpellier in Ligue 1.
French sports daily L’Equipe reported that property worth tens of thousands of euros was stolen.
Alves is the latest PSG star to be robbed.
Forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s house was broken into twice: once while PSG were playing in November and again in December by burglars who fled when they set off the alarm.
PSG captain Thiago Silva was burgled in December while playing at the Parc des Princes.
In December 2017, the Paris apartment of then-PSG coach Unai Emery was robbed as his team played Strasbourg.
The burglaries are not confined to Paris.
On Tuesday night, the homes of three Lyon players were burgled while they were playing Barcelona in the Champions League.
Police said they were called at 0045 local time (2345 GMT) on Wednesday to the home of forward Memphis Depay where thieves had forced entry through a window.
Depay had already been burgled last September when property worth more than one million euros was taken.
Midfielders Lucas Tousart and Pape Cheikh Diop also returned to their homes after appearing in Tuesday’s game to find them broken into.
The home of Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud was robbed during the night of February 8 while he was in Dijon watching the team in Ligue 1.
