This is after the two brands announced their partnership on Wednesday morning in Sandton, where Pelegrin was sitting alongside Hollywoodbets ambassador and former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Brian Baloyi as well as the betting company’s operations executive Sandisiwe Bhengu.
“The partnership allows us to keep working on developing football in South Africa as we have been doing in many communities like Soweto, Port Elizabeth, and Polokwane. This has been a shared driver for both brands to partner on and it is also an important objective for Hollywoodbets,” said Pelegrin.
Bhengu was ecstatic about the collaboration of the two companies. He said LaLiga was one of the best football Leagues in the world and that they were looking forward to touching more lives in South Africa together with LaLiga.
“As a brand that believes in investing in our communities, we look forward to touching more lives with LaLiga. We are confident that this is the beginning of a new era in South African football entertainment.”
Among the guests was also former Orlando Pirates striker Jerry Sikhosana, who also believes that the sponsorship deal will make a huge impact in the South African football fraternity and particularly football development in rural areas.
