TBT: Lefa Mogaila
In this week’s instalment of Throwback Thursday, former Platinum Stars defender Lefa Mogaila recalls a time when a game was postponed due to bad weather and had to be played over a period of two days.

Mogaila remembers how his teammate Tshepo Ramokala used the opportunity to payback revenge on those who tackled him hard before the game was abandoned.
“The game was stopped because the advertising boards were flying on the field and the referee said will continue next day,” Mogaila told Phakaaathi.
“We then went back to the stadium in Rustenburg the next day and played. My friend Tshepo Ramokala was watched closely on the first day and was tackled hard. The following day he went back determined to get revenge on those who tackled him the day before.
“What made him angry was how the referee didn’t caution them, so he thought he would get away with it as well.
“The next day he was tackling them and the referee put a stop to it and gave him a yellow card. He confronted the referee and told him to reverse the yellow card because the opponents didn’t get the yellow card the day before. We all laughed at him even the referee found it funny and said yesterday’s rules don’t apply today. He argued that this was a continued came and the rules should apply.”
