Twala, who was promoted to the Chiefs first team ahead of the 2019/2020 season, will join the side who are currently in fourth on the log.

GladAfrica Championship (NFD) team Swallows FC have signed striker Sizwe Twala, 22, after he was released by Kaizer Chiefs.

Twala, who was promoted to the Chiefs first team ahead of the 2019/2020 season, will join The Birds, who are currently in fourth place on the log.

The 22-year-old has been released in order for him to gain experience and improve his development for his career.

The Soweto-born striker was the reserve league’s joint top scorer, having scored 11 goals for the Chiefs reserve team during the 2018/19 MultiChoice Diski Challenge.

He will join fellow Chiefs youngsters Itumeleng Shopane and Ayanda Rorwana at Swallows. The duo went out on loan to The Birds at the start of the 2019/20 season.
