Musona is reportedly pushing for Anderlecht to terminate in contract soon so he can move to another club in the January transfer window.
According to SowetanLIVE Sundowns are trying to convince Musona to join coach Pitso Mosimane’s side.
The Zimbabwean international has played only eight games and scored one goal since joining Anderlecht from KV Oostende in July 2018.
Musona was a key player for Oostende scoring 35 goals in 103 appearances before attracting interest from Anderlecht.
The “Smiling Assassin” could reconnect with former teammate Andile Jali if the move to Sundowns materializes.
