Sundowns beats Chiefs and Pirates in world club rankings
Mamelodi Sundowns is in the company of European giants in the world club rankings.

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs were ranked below the Brazilians.
Coach Pitso Mosimane is the most popular South African coach on the list according to footballdatabase.com.
Sundowns have participated the Caf Champions League tournament each season since winning it back in 2016 reaching the top four each time.
Other South African teams that made it on the list are Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows, Ajax Cape Town, Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United.
Matsatsantsa and the Clever Boys have played in continental cup competition with United reaching the final of the Caf Confederations Cup.
Sundowns are seated at number 12 on the list of teams registered with the Confederation of African Football (Caf) with Tunisian side Esperance de Tunis being the most popular team on the African continent.
