The striker’s contract with Lidoda Duvha was set to expire at the end of June when curtains closed on the 2019/2020 season. Leopards were keen to extend his stay at the club but the two parties couldn’t agree on the new salary package.
Mhlongo’s agent Ratshivhumo Mulovhedzi has started search for a new club for the striker ahead of next season.
“We couldn’t reach an agreement regarding his salary, there are a number of teams that want him but we will wait for the last six months of the contract to expire so we can start preparing for his next move,” Mulovhedzi was quoted as saying by Isolezwe.
Mulovhedzi is confident his client will find a new club once the season is over.
