The presidency announced on Saturday morning that the president of the Confederation of African Football, Cameroon’s Issa Hayatou, had paid a courtesy visit to President Jacob Zuma at his official residence in Pretoria, Mahlamba Ndlophu.
The visit took place ahead of the big CAF clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Democratic Republic of Congo’s TP Mazembe.
Also in attendance were, among other people, Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula, Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe and Safa president Danny Jordaan, who were also all smiles while Zuma cracked jokes.

Mbalula was uploading videos to Twitter like crazy. He said the clash between Sundowns, the defending continental champions and TP Mazembe would be “lit”. He wished the local team luck.
