Second chance for Jali at Oostende

Jali has made only one start in the first half of the season as KV Oostende coach Yves Vanderhaeghe had opted to use other midfielders in his place after the former Orlando Pirates man previously made it clear he wanted to leave the Belgian club.
Jali’s injury also played a role in him sitting on the bench for most of the season.
Vanderhaeghe believes there is still a place for Jali in the team.
“The past six months were not enjoyable for him, but the stage is now set for a new start for Jali,” Vanderhaeghe said.
“He has shown what he has up his sleeve and is again available for selection.
“He’s a bit like a new signing for us and because we are missing Siani in his position, we might use Jali quite quickly,” said Vanderhaeghe after a match between Genk and Oostende.
