The festival begins on Saturday with the fixture of the day being title chasers Cape Town City taking on Kaizer Chiefs. Cape City are in second place with 26 points, just three behind log leaders Bloemfontein Celtic.
Another interesting clash on Saturday is between third-placed Polokwane City who are at 29 points taking rivals, Black Leopards, at the Thohoyando Stadium. Rise and Shine’s only hope of clinching the title is if they win the rest of their games and hope both Cape City and Celtic lose their remaining fixtures.
Reigning champions Lamontville Golden Arrows will lock horns with Mamelodi Sundowns at 10am and Cape Town City will play Kaizer Chiefs.
On Sunday, the two KZN-based teams, Maritzburg United, and AmaZulu FC will play the first match of the day, at 10am. Free State Stars will host Orlando Pirates in the last match of the festival.
