Reports in Belgium have linked the Zimbabwean international with a move back to the Absa Premiership to join Sundowns.
Musona is reportedly pushing for Anderlecht to terminate his contract so he can find another team in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old was loaned out to Lokeren in the second half of last season to get game time.
Mosimane confirmed that his side would try to sign Musona if he was available.
“Will you love to have Musona if he’s available? Yes, of course,” said Mosimane.
“Why not if he’s available? He’s the kind of player that I’ll take because I know he scores goals, and he’s a fighter. He’s like Khama Billiat, he’s strong, his attitude is right, he’s a good player.
“If we can get him, yes, why not. I’d love to have him,” Jingles added.
