Pirates still keen on Chiefs star

There have been suggestions that Pirates are planning to lure the unsettled midfielder to Mayfair.

“They are going to offer Chiefs a player plus a fee,” said a source.
“It will be difficult for Chiefs to ignore that offer. I am not sure who the player or players will be but (Riyaad) Norodien’s name has been bandied about.”

Lebese raised transfer rumours when he tweeted at the end of last season that he wanted to play more regularly even if it meant doing it in a different shirt. Pirates are said to be keen on Lebese as they have no experienced left-footed midfielder in their team.
