This is after the Soweto-based side were edged 1-0 by Premiership rookies Stellenbosch FC in their last league game at the Cape Town Stadium last weekend.

Mokwena though, still believes his side gave a great performance on the day and they fight for the Bucs badge.
“We are trying to improve our overall performance and overall results whether it’s at home or away, we try to win every match at Pirates, that’s the responsibility,” he said.
“But gallant performance, these players are unbelievable, they are really unbelievable, to fight for the badge as much as they do and try their utmost best to represent the club as well as they try. You just have to say well done to the opposition when you lose matches like this, you have to be a good sportsman and move on from it.”
Pirates are set to meet Highlands Park in a league match tonight at 7.30pm.
