The Nigerian defender joined Orlando Pirates from United at the beginning of the 2016/17 season along with Mark Van Heerden, who has enjoyed more game time at Bucs.
Okwuosa, on the other hand, has only played one game for Pirates in which the Buccaneers were humiliated 6-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns in a league tie.
“James called me and told me his move to Pirates is not going according to his wish. He asked me to look at a possibility of bringing him back to the club. So, I can say we will talk to Pirates about it and see what we can do,” Mpengesi told Umhlobo Wenene FM.
