Pirates close in on Ugandan defender
Orlando Pirates are expected to wrap up negotiations for Murushid Juuko and he could be announced as a new recruit next week.

A source close to the player said he is excited at the prospect of joining Africa’s biggest league.

“He told me he is on the verge of finalising the move. He will be joining alongside his former national team coach Micho (Milutin Sredojevic),” said a source.
The 23-year-old defender is highly rated in Uganda and currently plays for Simba SC in Tanzania. Pirates meanwhile are said to be on the verge of releasing current coach, Kjell Jonevret.
Reports suggest that Jonevret will be replaced by Sredojevic next week.
