Zim club to receive million dollar sponsorship from SA company – report
Highlanders are reportedly in talks with a South African company that is interested in sponsoring the team.
According to the Chronicle, the Bulawayo-based outfit is set to receive $1 million from Big Time Strategic Group (BTSG).
BTSG founder Justice Maphosa is a South African-based Zimbabwean businessman and he would like to invest in a club from his country of birth.

“BSTG wants to invest $1m in Highlanders,” said a source quoted by the Chronicle.
“Now that the elections are over, the deal should be finalised once the Bosso and BTSG teams meet and agree on the terms.”

Corporate affairs director at BTSG, Alson Darikayi confirmed that the two parties are in negotiations.
“All I can say is yes, we are in conversation with Highlanders over a number of business issues,” Darikayi said.
