Zambian star confirms Pirates talks

Austin Muwowo says he has been contacted by a number of clubs who are interested in his services, including Orlando Pirates.

The Zambian midfielder, who is currently representing Chipolopolo at the 2019 Cosafa Cup tournament in South Africa, says he will make a decision about his future after the tournament.

Muwowo was on loan at Forest Rangers from Super League giants Nkana FC last season.

“A number of clubs have been contacting me from outside the country,” Muwowo told Forest Rangers website. “At the moment I am not going anywhere. We will see what happens after the Cosafa Cup.”

Should the 24-year-old sign for Pirates, he would be the third Zambian player to join the Sea Robbers in the last two seasons after strikers Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga.
