Zakri set to make Ajax debut on Friday

The Turkish mentor is planning to have Zakri as his main striker on Friday when the  Urban warriors take on Free State Stars in Cape Town.

“Does Yannick Zakri need any introduction? He is a player I’ve admired for a very long time – he will be ready for Friday and we are looking forward to having him in the squad,” Ertugral told members of the media at a press conference.

“Yannick Zakri is not here to play on the wing, but as a striker.

“We just finished a two-hour training session and the boys didn’t want to stop.

“I had to tell them to get off the field! The boys are eager to bounce back and this makes me happy. Not to mention the video sessions.”
