Yeye confident of reaching MTN8 final

SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane believes his side has what it takes to edge Maritzburg United and reach the final of the MTN8.

Matsatsantsa A Pitori are on the back foot after allowing Fladu Davids’ side to snatch a late equalizer in the first-leg, which resulted in a 1-1l draw a fortnight ago in the capital city.

“We are going to reverse the score,” the veteran midfielder confidently told reporters.

“We are going to go all out to get the result that we want and go to the final,” added the ex-Kaizer Chiefs midfield maestro.

For that to be possible, Eric Tinkler’s SuperSport need to win the match by any margin, or hold out to a higher scoring draw than 1-1 if they are to advance to the final for the first time after 16 years.

Team of Choice on the other hand can reach a cup final for the first time if they can manage to prevent Tinkler’s men from finding the back of the net, or by simply winning it in front of their home crowd.
