The Clever Boys beat Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates to the player’s signature, as the Soweto Giants have made a bid for the player ahead of next season.

“Sangweni was officially given the go-ahead to start training with Wits. This came after Chippa CEO Koutroulis sealed the deal with his Wits counterparts, Jose Ferreira,” a source told The Daily Sun.
“Hunt is happy that he finally got the player, as he had tried to snatch him last season without luck.”
Jabulani Shongwe is expected to leave the club soon after the Clever Boys decided not to renew his contract, which expires at the end of June. Shongwe is currently training with the team, with a few days left before the end of June.
