Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt has confirmed Cuthbert Malajila and Mogakolodi Ngele will return to Mamelodi Sundowns next season.

Speaking to reporters after the match against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, Hunt said the on-loan duo do not want to go back to the Brazilians, but added that Wits could not afford Sundowns’ asking prices for the players.
“The players are going back. Sundowns want double figures for them. They don’t want to go back, but they’ll go back. They have contracts (with Sundowns) and that was part of the deal,” said Hunt.
“We’re going to lose a few more players. There are a few going already. So that’s another problem.”
Hunt added that Wits had already identified players they would like to bring in next season.
“Yeah, we’ve got three or four candidates we have really tried to get. We’ve been working on that for the last month or so. But it’s not really happening at this stage.
“We’re keeping most of our players. We’ve got pretty much all of our players tied up, so they’ll be with us next season, I hope.”
