The Clever Boys are now unbeaten in their last two league games, having beaten SuperSport United and drawn 1-1 with Chippa United.
Gavin Hunt’s men, however, remain 16th on the league standings with 15 points from 17 games.
Good news for Hunt is that new recruit Denis Weidlich will be available for this encounter after obtaining his work permit.
“Denis will be available and that is a big plus for us‚” Hunt told SuperSport.
“It gives you a situation where … those two [Thulani Hlatshwayo and Buhle Mkhwanazi] haven’t played a lot of games‚ they have been missing for various reasons.
“And you need consistency in the standard and level of players. At least we have got somebody now who can help us in that position. That’s important for us.”
Celtic on the other side will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they face Wits tonight.
Siwelele saw their two-match unbeaten run in the league came to an end when they suffered a 4-0 defeat to Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium last week Friday.
Assistant coach John Maduka is expecting a tough match against Wits.
“Well, everyone is looking forward to facing Wits at the Bidvest Stadium. It won’t be easy because Wits is a tough team to beat,” he said.
“However, we believe that if we work hard and implement our game plan then we can get a positive result. It’s not easy because we are coming off a 4-0 defeat to Maritzburg United. But the players are ready mentality for the Wits game, and they are looking forward to the match.”
