Gavin Hunt has blamed his defence after his side suffered a 2-0 loss to AmaZulu on Saturday evening.

Goals from Bongi Ntuli and Ovidy Karuru handed Wits their seventh loss in 23 matches at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
“We also conceded a goal just after half-time last weekend,” said Hunt after the game.

“Our defence includes players with lots of national team experience and I expect better from them. We are conceding far too many soft goals.”
The loss meant that Wits missed out on a chance to regain their spot at the top of the standings.
