Williams looks to impress for Bafana

Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is looking to use his recent call up to the national team to improve his form in national team colours.

The Port Elizabeth-born goal minder, who has worked with Stuart Baxter at club level at SuperSport United, is grateful for the opportunity offered to him by Baxter.

“I haven’t had the best Bafana career so far, so I would like to turn that around. Hopefully I can do this for my country,” Williams told The Sowetan.

“This is an opportunity for all three goalkeepers that are there right now, so I just want to do my best if given a chance.”

“I take the positives and negatives from each game. I just want to go out there, forget about the past and focus on the future,” he said.
