What Sundowns did was unlawful- Kadodia
Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has been left with egg on his face after he told one of his players he would be joining Mamelodi Sundowns only for the Tshwane giants to withdraw their interest.

Kadodia had apparently told Deolin Mekoa that he would allow him to leave when Sundowns made an offer to purchase earlier in the year and the player was over the moon as his dream move was on the horizon.
But it seems Kadodia’s demand of a butter trade deal may have put off the Brazilians who have since withdrawn their offer.
“What Sundowns did was unlawful. They came to me and said they want a player. I told the player that Sundowns want him and he was excited. Sundowns then came back to me and said they don’t want the player anymore.
“This was disappointing because I had already told the player and he was looking forward to it. The move to Sundowns is now off,” Kadodia told Isolezwe on Friday.
