READ: We can do without Billiat – Pitso
City may not be interested in Billiat, but there are some overseas-based players that the former Ajax Cape Town boss has his sights on as the Premier Soccer League transfer window period shuts down tonight.
However, recruiting those players is all dependent on whether club captain Lebogang Manyama will make his speculated move abroad.
“It will all depend if the transaction with Manyama to Europe materializes or not. We are not looking at anyone locally at the moment. It will be an international player, we have one or two options and we will be looking to bring,” Comitis said.
Comitis has also revealed that midfielder Aubrey Ngoma is steadily making his way towards full fitness after suffering from a knee injury in June.
“Aubrey was at training this week … he did little jogging. I think he is two weeks ahead of schedule, so I am anticipating that in four weeks’ time he is going to join the team on a full basis,” said Comitis.
