Matsatsantsa A Pitori are three points ahead of 15th-placed Ajax Cape, who occupy the playoff spot.
“We know the reasons behind the situation. For us as players, we are the ones on the pitch so we’re the ones who are supposed to get ourselves out,” Furman told Phakaaathi.
“We know the message now and we don’t need anyone to spell it out for us. We just have to fight on the pitch and we have to start on Wednesday night because we know that three points will be fantastic for us,” he added, as his side prepares to face second-placed Orlando Pirates at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday night.
“It is a huge and important game for both teams but three points will be a massive boost in our aim to climb up the log,” said the Bafana Bafana international.
